The words rock star, don't even begin to describe this talented guitarist and vocalist of Meanstreak.
Dean was born in Englewood, N.J., married sweetheart Laura in 1980 and together have 3 daughters, Marlene, Mandy and Kristin.
Today Dean enjoys a much warmer and well deserved lifestyle in West Palm Beach, Florida where he has expanded his musical horizons with Meanstreak.
Dean began his musical journey in Palisades Park, N.J. in the 7th grade when, out of boredom his buddy Steve Cavallo showed him how to play
three chords on a five-string banjo. Dean instantly dreamed of becoming a rock star, apparently unaware that rock stars didn't usually play banjo.
Dean's collaboration with his legendary friend Steve resulted in quite a few original comedy based songs such as "Pickles & Frogs",
"The Milkman", and "Mr. Dennis". Aside from Steve, Dean's major influences are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Johnny and Edgar Winter,
Boston, Queen, Aerosmith and Pink Floyd. His main axe is a vintage Hamer played through a Crate amp with Digitech stomp box effects.
